Our editorial team is looking for proofreading support on a freelance basis, as soon as possible. As a proofreader in our content team, you will scrutinize our didactic texts and ensure they read perfectly. The texts you review help thousands of students learn and understand, every day.

Your Mission

Digital learning in the here and now. As a proofreader, your goal is to review our content for our students with meticulous perseverance. This is what your tasks will look like:

• You correct didactic texts that summarize our learning videos in various subjects.
• You correct exercises.
• Your critical eye checks spelling, sentence structure, punctuation and expression.
• You support us in providing flawless content for our users.

Your Profile

For a collaboration in our proofreading department you bring the following qualities:

• You are currently completing a language-oriented university degree (ideally English Language studies, literary studies, linguistics, translation or similar).
• Ideally, you have already gained some experience in editing/proofreading or a similar, language and text-oriented field.
• English is your native language (US/UK).
• You have a very good understanding of language, can express yourself well and have a good command of English spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• You work independently, carefully, accurately and with concentration.
• You are reflective and critical when correcting texts.
• You are aware of the possible difficulties and stumbling blocks of the English language and can easily find the information necessary to correct a text.
